Destination Receives Coveted Industry Award from Australian Marketing Institute
Destination has cemented its reputation as one of Australia's leading incentive and event management companies, receiving a coveted industry award at the Austrailan Marketing Institute Gala Dinner last night. Together with its partner RMIT Professor of Marketing Dr Francis Farrelly, Destination took out the "Product/Service Revitalisation" category for the company's Incentive and Business Insights Program (IBIP) Destination CEO Glenn Fitzgerald said: "We are delighted to receive this award, which recognizes the significant effort we have invested in adapting our incentives offering to meet the needs of our clients as they grapple with unprecedented change in their business environment." "IBIP is unique because it integrates incentive, inspiration and insight with an experiential learning approach that draws on industry leaders in targeted capability areas. As well as rewarding staff for their achievements, it invests in both them and their employer in ways that will assist their business to proactively deal with significant and ongoing change." Announcing the awards, AMI General Manager Narendra Prasad said: "AMI’s Awards showcase marketing excellence and provide an opportunity for Australian Marketers to grow as professionals. This year there were 16 categories, 7 special awards, over 200 entries and 120 judges who undertook the challenging task of individually reviewing and determining the winners."
